Installing this bar on a 4-drawer or 3-drawer cabinet will result in a bar that extends below the bottom drawer and cannot seat correctly against the drawer faces. The bar length is fixed to the 5-drawer configuration and is not adjustable.
The cabinet must have at least 1/2 inch of vertical steel frame space adjacent to the drawer openings for the mounting screws to anchor.
