The outside cylinder is a 5-pin rim cylinder (1109E), which is the Yale 1109 format in a 5-pin configuration. Turning the outside key operates the latchbolt from the exterior. The inside cylinder is a fixed 3-pin brass cylinder with no alternatives available for substitution. Turning the inside key throws or retracts the deadbolt from the interior.
